> Team THE PROJECT TEAM:

Ever wondered who's behind all of the lovely things you see on the "Galaxy" page? Well now you can find out! Below is a list of all the people who have contributed to the game thus far and what they've done. If I've left anyone out, please let me know, I'm doing this from memory :) (Oct 28/99).

  • Ryan Clark (Lucky)
Well, Lucky pretty much does a little of everything and a LOT of programming... all of the programming in fact. This game is Lucky's baby, he loves it :) He's been dreaming of making the ultimate space ship game since he was a kid and hopes this game will be just that.
  • Sergio Bernardo
Well if Lucky's the Captain of Starship Galaxy, then Sergio is definitely the First Officer. Serge draws almost every ship or spacestation that you see in the game in AutoCAD. He is responsible for the design of most of the ships as well. Countless conceptual components of the game are the fruits of Sergio's ample cranium. Also, a large portion of the storyline is credited to this man. He invented Corwin!
  • Jessica Clark
Yes it's a family affair, Lucky's sister is in on the act. She's very talented with PhotoShop and Illustrator. Many of the pictures you see in the game were her creations. She has also contributed conceptually to the design of the game, and perhaps most importantly, she makes sure everything "looks nice" :)
  • James Clark (Jimmy)
Another Clark? Yes, we're taking over the globe: This is Lucky's uncle. Jimmy has produced the music that you hear in the intro and while you're on the various space stations. Pretty awesome stuff!
  • Matthew Parry (Dr. Matt)
This Medicine student at UBC has produced the conceptual sketches for a large proportion of the ships you see in the game. He also contributes greatly to the overall design and direction of the game. A creative individual indeed. WINCHES!
  • Michael Tyne
How many hours have Mike and Ryan spent philosophizing about the intricacies of space travel and astronomy? Roughly the same number of hours that they should have spent studying for their exams methinks :) Mike contributes to the game on the conceptual level with ideas on all topics. Also, he is responsible for many of the beautiful pictures of planets and other heavenly bodies within the game.
  • Greg Sykes
Besides the fact that Greg had to put up with endless discussions about the game while he was likely trying to watch TV, he has contributed in other ways. Greg has given many conceptual ideas that will be implemented in the game, but most notably, Greg's claim to fame is The Altairian Space Station - he designed it!
  • Hani Abdalla
Well, what shall we say about Hani? He is the team bitch :) He keeps us motivated and angry. He has designed several ships and contributed many ideas.
  • Andrew Agno
What was it, perhaps two years now? Yes, two years ago Ryan and Andrew spent many days discussing the ultimate space ship game. Those talks formed the basis in Ryan's mind for the game you see before you. Andrew is the co-father of the game.. gak, same sex parents!
  • Michael Lee (Mikey)
Conceptually Mike has contributed to the game, and when Ryan needs some programming advice, this is the man he turns to!
  • Wayne Skuhala (The 'ol Wayne)
Did I spell that correctly Wayne? The 'ol Wayne has contributed programming advice and conceptually to the project.
